The other day’s newspapers made headlines on loud music blaring in coastal belts beyond 10 pm. Tourists who come from western countries undertake heavy expenditure to enjoy Goa’s touristic beauty. Normally along the coastal belt the music in star hotels and rave parties starts at 8 pm and as per restriction end at 10 pm. After paying heavy entry ticket for parties they (tourist) get only 2 hours lukewarm entertainment. Likewise, the traditional wedding celebration has to pay more than 8 lakh to the wedding halls. Earlier before the restriction was at12 pm, it was to everyone's satisfaction. In our country all activities comes to standstill at 12 pm: are there no influential people living who gets disturbance in sleep beyond 10 pm? Or only in touristic Goa? Good governance means thinking of the good of the people on this subject and likely rest the matter at the earlier timing of 12 pm.
