Our villages have lost their simplicity, no longer peaceful

Just close your eyes and just utter the word village and we will start imagining beautiful mountains, green beautiful trees and beautiful paddy fields and some fields growing various types of vegetables and also fresh well water, beautiful springs and the most important thing a beautiful, peaceful, simple life. But looking at the present scenario, our beautiful villages have lost their simplicity. With an increase in migrants, our villages are no more peaceful. And the most important thing is that every second house in the villages are given for rent and no proper sanitation with sewage pipelines making their way to beautiful lakes which surround the villages. Our beautiful small villages are now stinking because of the increasing amounts of garbage. Where is our beautiful Goa headed?
