Chief Minister Pramod Sawant whilst speaking at a inaugural function held in Saligao village to start the hot-mixing of the Chogm road just before the last assembly elections had confidently promised of providing 100% pothole-free roads throughout the State within a matter of few months.
The state of our few main road stretches (especially starting right near the house of our former chief minister, the late Dr Wilfred D'Souza, then passing near Mohan garage, fish market, Colors Restaurant and heading towards Peggy's corner) have really gone from bad to worse.
On the other hand the road stretch, starting from Big Daddy Casino and heading towards Majestic Pride Casino in the heart of Panaji was fully washed-out in the first few weeks of June itself but the same was immediately given attention and hot-mixed within a month.
I think that Saligao MLA Kedar Naik should put pressure on the Pramod Sawant-led BJP government and get not just the few above mentioned road stretches but the entire main road of our village fully repaired/ hotmixed at the very earliest.
