The controversial signboard that was earlier displayed near the ladies and gents washrooms at the Manohar International Airport featuring a picture of the world famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa was finally removed after citizens/netizens raised an alarm and complained that it hurt their religious sentiments.
Now, under whose instruction was that particular signboard displayed in the washroom at the Manohar International Airport at Mopa? And why with a picture of the Basilica of Bom Jesus?
The right thing for the government to do now will be to issue an unconditional apology. The incident has hurt the religious sentiments of many people.
