State Wildlife Board is politically compromised

The Goa Forest Minister says that the Tiger Reserve is not for Goa as the State Wildlife Board has rejected the proposal.  It is well known in Goa that all the watchdogs in Goa today like Wildlife  Board, Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB), GCZMA etc are all compromised bodies with Goa's ruling politicians putting in their moles and people incharge; and no matter what professionals or members of repute are in the said body, the final say will always will be with the ruling party which misuses the respective watchdogs  as a excuse/proxy to push their destructive agenda.

For example, the Goa State Wildlife Board was recently re-constituted in May 2023 with chairman as Goa Chief Minister and Forest Minister as vice chairman.  Noted green activists including Rajendra Kerkar were excluded and the board appears to accommodate only 'yes' men/women of the CM and Forest Minister.  I request the Goa Forest Minister to please stop using the heavily compromised State Wildlife Board to pursue his own agenda.
