Religion is not the cause of war, but rather religion is used as a tool to start wars by political leaders. So, if politicians shout out that whatever they are doing is for the good of a particular religion, it is never so. They all have a hidden agenda. Take for example, the thrust for anti-conversion bill and digging up for temples built during the erstwhile Portuguese ruled period. It is nothing but a stunt on the part of political leaders to get attention and seek power. Similarly, the recent Nupur Sharma episode that was condemned by all Muslim dominated countries. All this, because Prophet Mohammed was insulted. Ironically, where were they when thousands of Muslims are crying hoarse about the injustice done to them in the same country. Here, I would like all of us to reflect on a quote, “ Education is not memorizing that Hitler killed 6 million Jews. Education is understanding how millions of ordinary Germans were convinced that it was required.” We need to stay alert and realize that God is one and no politician can make us believe otherwise.
