Unbridled power of central government

Our PM talks about cooperative federalism, less government, more governence and what is going on is just the opposite. To quote ex BJP stalwart Yeshwant Sinha “This government can do anything to win elections. All the institutions including democracy have become weak”. It is creditable how the Delhi Kejriwal government, elected with massive majority for two terms has managed to function and achieve much despite the BJP and Congress continued sniping trying to put a spoke to discredit/prevent AAP from functionning! The Supreme Court on July 4, 2018 ruled the lieutenant governor of Delhi had no independent decision-making powers and was bound to follow the "aid and advice" of the Delhi chief-minister-headed council of ministers of the Government of Delhi on all matters except those pertaining to police, public order and land. The government is now reportedly  bringing a Bill to designate the LG as the government! The Supreme Court directions on police reforms have likewise been disregarded by all governments. The Supreme Court is the guardian of the Constitution and appears to be permitting the executive to overpower our legal system! It is high time the use of draconian sedition and UAPA laws are strictly monitored and the non-elected LG not be permitted "under contempt" to interfere with the elected government as clearly specified by the Supreme Court 2018 judgement. The misuse of Ordinances and unconstitutional legislated laws must now at least be questioned in public interest?
