With elections over, the EVMs of all 40 assembly seats have been stored in strong rooms guarded by security staff as we await for other states to complete the election process. Instead of spending crores of rupees to guard the EVMs, storage arrangements, etc it would have been more appropriate to hold elections in Goa between March 5-7 to avoid such costs, poaching of government servants, etc. And counting could have been done on March 10. There is no logic for such a long gap.
