Fighting to preserve the soul of India

The agitation against NEET and many regular paper leaks and re-exams caused much trauma to millions of students and brought suicides and frustration without any ministerial accountability. Generation Z led by CJP leader Abijeet Dipke who flew down from Boston after obtaining permission in Delhi, started youth protests and fasts at Jantar Mantar on 20 June 2026. They got a big boost with Sonam Wangchuk joining the fast unto death on June 28. Their main demand was resignation of the Union Education Minister. When the whole of India responded—people including students from all over India, parents and children from all religions and castes with absolutely no distinction — the crowds swelled with demonstrations all over India. Finally only on July 25 did the government capitulate, and the minister had to resign. This spontaneously exhibited unity in diversity is the soul of India. Democracy should not be on the streets but exhibited in Parliament. Government must be open to criticism and dutifully answer. How the CJP takes this movement forward will hopefully bring back honest democracy, peaceful secularism and more importantly accountability which now is totally lacking.
