CM Pramod Sawant while speaking at a function on Tuesday has said that 'PM Modi's monthly radio broadcast 'Mann Ki Baat' is not a political speech, but a platform for public interaction and is a programme through which the Prime Minister directly interacts with the people of the country. Well, Modi’s 'Mann Ki Baat' is indeed a political speech in which he does his own self glorification by continuously talking about achievements of his government throughout the entire 45-mintutes programme. Infact, he reads a ready-made script displayed right infront of his camera screen. Secondly, Sawant has said that some people feel that they are showing Modi’s monthly 'Mann Ki Baat' programme to students for political reasons, but that is not the case. Well, if that is really not the case then why students who understand nothing about politics/politicians are forced to listen to PM Modi’s 45 minute-long speech every month? Modi is perhaps the first Prime Minister of the country who is still seen not taking any questions from genuine reporters and refusing to hold a single press conference even after 12 years.
