While the Opposition parties may be having reservations with regards to forming a joint coalition this scheme should be acceptable to all parties. A fair and equitable seat-sharing arrangement can be worked out by an united Opposition consisting of the Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Goa Forward Party and the Revolutionary Goans Party that should be able to address concerns of all the four parties that will be based on the performance of the 2022 Assembly election. All the seats that were won by the Congress, AAP, GFP and RGP should be assured to the concerned parties and then a detailed study of the performances in all the remaining constituencies based on 2nd and 3rd placed positions as per the vote share be analysed and on merit seats should be allocated. This scheme will ensure that merit-based seat-sharing of these four parties that have political representation are taken into consideration and thus consent for this scheme will not affect individual merits of the party though candidates will be different. Since in the last Assembly elections the Opposition garnered 66% of the vote share, victory for the Opposition will be assured.
