Goa Chitra Ethnographic Museum will host a unique Western Classical Music Salon Concert featuring Alumna of the Royal Academy of Music, London and Steinway Young Artist Nadine Crasto along with Alumna of Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London soprano Farah Ghadiali on November 16 at 6,30 pm.
The concert which is a fundraiser to the cause of conservation of history and heritage, will include Italian Opera Arias, German Lieder, Art Songs in Spanish, English and pieces from famous Broadway musicals.
Sopranao Farah Ghadiali studied classical music at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music under the tutelage of Patricia Rozario. She went on to perform in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall conducted by international Maestros such as Vladimir Jurowski and Charles Dutoit.
In July 2018, she was accepted to the International Music Academy Mozarteum (Salzburg) to undertake master classes with renowned Italian Coloratura Soprano Luciana Serra.
Steinway Young Artist Nadine Crasto began learning the piano at the age of nine.
She graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
She studied harpsichord with Carole Cerasi and performed anachronistic chamber works on various historical instruments during her studies in London.
She has been performing at solo and chamber music concerts in London, Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata, Mysore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Pune.
