Guess why there’s sudden talk over the merger of Goa Forward with the Congress party? Pose this question to leaders of the regional outfit, and they all seem to be in the dark over the regional party’s merger with the Congress. Sources in the know, however, say that the merger reports emanated after Congress Goa desk observer Dinesh Gundu Rao had a meeting with Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai somewhere in the State capital. And, what further fueled speculations was when Dinesh Gundu Rao congratulated Vijaibab for stopping the Lotus from blooming in the Margao Municipal Council.
