​Navelim Sporting Club beat Cortalim Villagers 4-2 via tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of 23rd All Goa inter village Lourdes Festival Soccer organized by United Club of Utorda in association with Our Lady of Lourdes-Utordekars in UAE at Utorda grounds.
Cortalim Villagers drew the first blood in the ninth minute through Clinton Fernandes who was assisted by Desmond Carvalho. Navelim Sporting found the equalizer through Sandy Colaco in the 15th minute. Both teams displayed good football with short passes and deft finishing and had equal share of openings in a fast-paced game which enthralled the football aficionados in the stand. Alvito Colaco then missed a sitter to close out the game in the 65th minute with only goalkeeper at his mercy.
In the tie-breaker, Navelim converted through Anil Shivolker, Aldrin Coelho, Sandy Colaco and Bittu Singh while only Maglisten Paes and Johnson Rodrigues netted for Cortalim.
