Estilo Legends beat Priority Titans by 75 runs in the Desserts n More Sarsangan Super Series Cricket at Arlem Cricket ground.
Put in to bat and losing Adv Sachin Sardesai on the first ball, Estilo Legends recovered through a 44 run partnership for the 2 nd wicket between SudinKamat 15 (9 balls) and Sanat Prabhudesai 50 (26) and a 41 run partnership for the 3 rd wicket between Sanat and Siddhesh Desai 30 (29) as they reached 91-4 in 10 overs.
The innings however got the much desired acceleration as Estilo Legends team owner Dr. Sagar Salgaocar blasted 53 (26) and along with Siddhesh Prabhu Alvenkar 35 not out helped the Legends put up 218-4 in 20 overs, the highest score of the Desserts n More Sarsangan Super Series 2024. Paarth Kossambe and Aditya Prabhugaonkar picked a wicket apiece.
In reply, Priority Titans were rocked in the very 1 st over as both the openers Sairaj Dhond and Sukrut Pai were consumed by a fiery opening spell from Siddesh Prabhu Alvenkar. Though Amod Borkar 16 (11), Aditya Prabhugaonkar 36 (32), Rajendra Prabhudesai 37 (34) and the Priority Titans owner Swapneel Nachinolkar 19 (17) tried their best, the Titans could not catch up with the rising run rate as they folded up for 143 in 20 overs, losing the match by 75 runs.
Siddhesh Prabhu Alvenkar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-0-17-3 and received good support from Dr. Sagar Salgaocar who scalped 2-15. Kauntey Shenvi, Sudin Kamat and Siddhesh Bodke picked a wicket apiece. Their 2 nd victory helped Estilo Legends to jump to the 5 th position after 4 rounds with 3 rounds of league matches to play in the Desserts n More Sarsangan Super Series.
Siddhesh Prabhu Alvenkar was awarded the Desserts n More Man of the Match medal and the Estilo Moderno Realty Man of the Match trophy along with a cash prize of Rs.2000 for his brilliant bowling for the Estilo Legends. The presentation was done by Swapneel Nachinolkar, Rajendra Prabhudesai, Anil Kamat, Shwetang Kamat Ghanekar in the presence of Gomakant Mahambrey.
