Damodar HSS Gudi Paroda and Harmal Panchkroshi HSS Harmal emerged as State champs in the U-19 Sepaktakraw tournament organised by DSYA and at Fatorda Multipurpose Hall on Tuesday.
In the Boys' final “ Damodar HSS defeated St Francis Xavier’s HSS of Siolim by 2-1 sets. Micky Dias, Julius Carvalho, Sapnesh Gaonkar, Akash Mourya and Alloysius Fernandes represented Damodar HSS. The third place was bagged by Gauncar HSS of Raia with a 2-1 win over Dempo HSS, Cujira.
Harmal Panchkroshi HSS of Harmal defeated Cuncolim United HSS by 2-1 sets to emerge State champs in the girls' section. Joyce Fernandes, Sadhana Ashvekar, Amisha Teli, Saijal Gadekar and Richa Mathkar represented the winning team. Kamakshi HSS of Curti bagged third place with a 2-0 set win over Our Lady of the Rosary HS of Dona Paula.
