Goa Diocesan Priests made short work of Manora Raia Parishioners 3-1 to clinch Our Lady of Monserrat Youth Cup Manora on the occasion of Vocation Day, organised by Our Lady of Monserrat Chapel, Manora, in an exhibition football match held at Manora Raia ground on Sunday.
Fr Sydnel opened the scoring for Diocesan Priests in the 25th minute before Fr Christopher doubled the lead in the 40th minute. Diocesan Priests netted the third through Fr Sydnel in the 48th minute. Frazier Barbosa pulled a goal back for Manora Parishioners in the 59th minute.
Individual prizes: Best defender - Fr Americo, Best striker “ Fr Sydnel, Best goalkeeper “ Fr Rosario, Best midfielder “ Joyston. Fr Succour Colaco, prefect of Rachol Seminary, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
