vClusive Luxury and Marine Solutions come together to host the second vClusive Cup Goa International Sailing Week from March 16-20, 2017 at Cidade de Goa, Dona Paula. This exclusive sailing week for vClusive members only is curated to offer a world-class sailing experience.
With hospitality fit for the opulent, it will be a global lifestyle experience like no other. This edition of the annual regatta includes sailing through popular classes of boats including sailboards, kite boards and beach catamarans,as well as events such as Laser Coastal Championship, Hobie 16 Coastal Championship, Boardsailing National Ranking Event and the Topper Grand Prix.
The four-day regatta brings together exclusive privileges to vClusive members, including a luxury flea market, eclectic musical evenings, luxury yacht cruises, water sports and adventures, street acts among other things.
Competition details: All racing areas are located within approximately 20 minutes sailing from the launch area.
Regatta classes include: Men’s Sailboard (Windsurfing): Olympic RS:X class (Open), Raceboard class (Open), RS:One class (under 22);
Women’s Sailboard: Raceboard class (Open), RS:One (under 22); Men’s One Person Dinghy: Laser Standard (Olympic class); Open One Person Dinghy: Laser Radial (Olympic class for women); Open Multi-Hull Hobie 16 Catamarans; Kite Surfing Open category; Junior One-Person Dinghy: Laser 4.7, Topper (both under 18); Junior Sailboard: Techno (under 17); Raceboard (under 18); Offshore Keelboats (above 7 metres length overall).
The event is a calendar event / class coastal championship for Hobie16, Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7 and Boardsailing classes, withthe results counting towards national ranking for the sailors. Participants born on or after January 1, 2000 are eligible for participation in the Laser 4.7, Topper and Raceboard (Junior) classes.
Participants born on or after January 1, 2001 are eligible for participation in the Techno class. Those born on or after January 1, 1996 are eligible for participation in the RS:One class.
