Late Manohar Sawkar TT: Chandan, Yug, Ruhaan and Dhruva reach U-15 semis

Chandan Caro, Yug Prabhu, Ruhaan Shaikh and Dhruva Kamat stormed into the Boys U15 semi-finals on a pulsating day at the Late Manohar Sawkar Goa State Table Tennis championship 2025, underway at the Multipurpose Stadium, Fatorda.
The championship, organised by the Goa Table Tennis Association in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa, is the final event of the year and will determine the top players who will represent Goa at the Nationals.
Top seed Chandan opened the day with a solid 3-1 win over Mark Da Costa, while Yug followed with an impressive 3-1 victory against fourth seed Vedant Wagle. Ruhaan maintained strong momentum, defeating sixth seed Chinmay Bhakare 3-1, and Dhruva completed the last-four lineup with a convincing 3-0 win over Kaushik Nair.
The Boys U17 quarterfinals produced equally engaging matchups as Chandan Caro, Ruhaan Shaikh, Dhruva Kamat and Rishan Shaikh progressed to the semi-finals. Chandan looked in top form yet again, registering a commanding 3-0 win over Surendra Chube.
Third seed Ruhaan displayed composure to overcome Vedant Wagle 3-0 in straight games, while Dhruva continued his excellent run with another dominant 3-0 victory, this time against Bhaavan Shrivastava. The final semi-final berth was clinched by Rishan, who produced a gritty 3-1 win over sixth seed Yug Prabhu.
