Pratik P Naik Borkar, Komal Kothari, Priyansh Sawant Dessai and Saachi Sinai Kenkre emerged as the standout performers by clinching double titles at the All Goa Open under-11 and under-13 Badminton Tournament held at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim.
Saachi captured the girls' singles under-11 title and teamed up with Yashika Koneru to win the girls' doubles under-11 crown. Pratik won the boys' singles under-13 title before partnering Varun Sahakari to claim the boys' doubles under-13 title. Komal secured the girls' singles under-13 title and later joined forces with Ashbah Tahasildar to lift the girls' doubles under-13 trophy.
In the other finals, Priyansh Sawant Dessai defeated Aariketh Chari to win the boys' singles under-11 title and then partnered Mahipal Sinh Parmar to clinch the boys' doubles under-11 crown.
The runners-up were Oorvi Khyalia (girls' singles under-11), Vedh Lotliker (boys' singles under-13), Ashbah Tahasildar (girls' singles under-13), Aariketh Chari and Sambhav Bhardwaj (boys' doubles under-11), Ayansh Sanke and Mihir Chafadkar (boys' doubles under-13), Oorvi Khyalia and Samaira Velip (girls' doubles under-11), and Nishka Gauns Dessai and Tirtha Shetkar (girls' doubles under-13).
The tournament was organised by Salcete Badminton Club under the aegis of the Goa Badminton Association and powered by Model Margao, an initiative of Yogiraj Digambar Kamat.
