Sporting Clube de Goa registered a 2-1 victory over Sesa FA to reach the GFA Under-18 League finals on Tuesday.Sesa FA were the first to take the lead in the fourth minute through Mark Agnelo, whose powerful right footed shot beat the Sporting keeper. After the early goal, the Sporting lads settled in and started to launch a series of attacks, trying to get the equalizer. Sporting's Carry Vaz was exceptional in the first half. He was finally rewarded in the 33rd minute as from a good cross from Ivon Costa, the former tapped in from point blank range to pull one back for Sporting. The first half ended with the teams tied 1-1.
Switching over, Sporting introduced Perryson Fernandes, who turned out to be the game changer for the Flaming Oranje. Perryson made an instant impact making some good moves and creating a few half chances. In the 66th minute, Perryson managed to snatch the winner with a good shot from the box. The final quarter saw Sesa trying their best to come back into the game but a determined Sporting gave them very little room to operate.
