MARGAO: United Club Benaulim thumped Goa Velha SC 5-1 to enter the quarterfianls of the Curtorim Panchayat cup football tournament, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Saturday.

Keegan Fernandes netted a hat-trick while Arif and Luis Fernandes scored a goal each for UC Benaulim. Francis Afonso reduced the margin for Goa Velha SC.

Keagan Fernandes of United Club of Benaulim was awarded the man of the match which was given by Mathew Hilario Panch of VP Curtorim.
