Adarsh SCC defeated Delta Group by 59 runs to emerge champions of a limited-overs cricket tournament played at MPT ground, Vasco. Delta Operations, Adarsh SCC, SP XI and Delta Group were the four teams that participated in the tournament.
Adarsh SCC batted first and posted 156-3 in 10 overs. Rohit Harijan top-scored with 97 with 10 hits to the fence and 3 sixers. Sanjay Vargaokar contributed 24 runs. In reply, Delta Group scored 79-6 in 10 overs. Sagar Malwankar and Aaradhana Saroj scored 21 and 17 runs respectively. For Adarsh SCC, Sandeep Dabholkar took 2 wickets.
Earlier, Adaarsh SCC defeated Delta Operations while Delta Group defeated SP XI to enter the finals. Rohit Harijan of Adarsh SCC was adjudged as the Man of the final and best batsman; Sandeep Dabholkar of Adarsh and Unnikrishna of SP XI were adjudged as Man of the series and Best bowler respectively.
