Beach Ballers, Baina booked their place in the final of the 1st Nicolau Fernandes Memorial All Goa 7-a-side Football Tournament with a convincing 3-1 victory over Wembley Boys, Fatorda, in the semi-final clash held at New Vaddem, Vasco.
The star of the match was Anantu, who netted a brilliant hat-trick to guide his team to a comfortable win. Despite a spirited effort, Wembley Boys could only manage a consolation goal through Michael Dias.
For his match-winning performance, Anantu was rightly named Man of the Match.
The second semi-final of the tournament will see Nicky Jr, Chinchinim face off against Shri Lairai, New Vaddem at the New Vaddem Ground on Friday.
