Bab Bakery defeated Aman Brothers 1-0 to emerge champions in the 1st all-Goa 5-a-side football tournament, organised by Romantic and sponsored by Rohan Harmalkar, at Mahalaxmi Temple Divar ground.
The tournament saw 24 teams battle it out for the title. Bab Bakery began play on an impressive note as they dictated the pace from the middle. They moved the ball from end to end and displayed great composure, keeping possession of the ball for long spells. Firoz scored a late match-winner. The winners, Bab Bakery pocketed Rs 15,000 and a trophy, while Aman Brothers received a prize of Rs 10,000 and a trophy.
