Duncolim Warriors emerged as champions defeating A&A Seraulim by 3 runs in a low-scoring final of the Inter Seraulim Control Cricket Tournament organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim at SAG ground Seraulim.
A&A Seraulim, after winning the toss, made Duncolim Warriors bat. However, the latter managed to score only 18 runs in the allotted 5 overs. The only contribution for Duncolim Warriors came through the bats of Hipolito and Oliver. A&A Seraulim bowler Gopi Chawan claimed a hat-trick, giving away only four runs in his two overs.
A&A Seraulim, who had earlier scored 50-plus runs in their earlier encounters, lost wickets at regular intervals and could score only 15 runs. Duncolim Warriors bowlers Roomless, Vicky and Jess were economical and claimed wickets too.
