Debutants Vasco United FC defeated Cortalim Gymkhana 3-1 in the GFA Third Division League match played at the Tilak Maidan, Vasco on Tuesday.
Vasco United were leading 2-0 at half time. Vasco United shot into the lead in the 27th minute through Johan Mesquita. Immediately, they scored another goal through Johan in goalmouth action as Cortalim keeper was unsighted.
In the second half, Vadco United scored their third goal through substitute Aaron Fernandes. Rizelmo Dias reduced the margin in the 89th minute for Cortalim with a snap goal. Vasco United FC are currently leading the table with 9 points from 3 wins.
Curtorim Gymkhana pip CAC Cansaulim
Curtorim Gymkhana registered a solitary goal victory over CAC Cansaulim to enter the quarterfinals of the Davorlim Panchayat Cup football tournament organised by Davorlim SC at Davorlim ground on Tuesday. Joywin Carneiro netted the match-winner in the 8th minute. Arron of Cansaulim missed a chance to score in the 12th minute.

Parish Youth Nuvem defeated Nerul SC 2-1 to enter the semifinals of the St Rock Super Soccer inter-village football tournament played at Calata Majorda ground on Tuesday. Shubert Borges and Albino Pereira netted a goal each for Nuvem in the 25th and 52nd minutes while Akash pulled a goal back for Nerul in the 58th minute.
Davorlim rally to hold SC de Rumdamol
In a closely contested match at DBO Fatorda Ground, Davorlim SC drew 2-2 with SC de Rumdamol in a GFA U-15 Division League (Division II) Group B match on Tuesday.
The game started off with a quick goal by Savesh Gaunkar of SC de Rumdamol in the 13th minute, catching Davorlim SC off guard. However, Davorlim SC quickly retaliated with a goal by Vanesteve Dias in the 27th minute, levelling the score.
The game continued to be evenly matched, with both teams vying for control. In the 35th minute, Savesh Gaunkar struck again for SC de Rumdamol, taking the lead again. However, Davorlim SC refused to give up and fought back with determination. In the 50th minute, Royan Colaco of Davorlim SC scored a crucial goal, levelling the score once again.
