Fatorda Veterans emerged champions of the Friends Circle Veterans Cup after defeating Joe Cookies Veterans by a solitary goal, at Kirbhat ground, Nuvem, on Sunday.
Joe Cookies' Robin Gomes missed the first chance to score in 10th minute while Fatorda's Vincent Barbosa's header missed the target before half time.
In second session, Joe Cookie's Jaison Cardozo's shot missed the target from the box in the 36th minute. The all important goal came from Camilo Monteiro in the 48th minute off a beautiful placement from the box to seal the fate of Joe Cookies Veterans.
