Nuvem Veterans prevailed over Chinchinim Veterans 5-3 via the tiebreaker and moved into the quarterfinals of the Varca Veterans tournament organised by Varca Veterans at Varca ground on Tuesday. Fr Jorge Dias of Chinchinim Veterans was the star of the match but missed chances to score. Full time score remained goalless draw.
In the tiebreaker, Nuvem Veterans netted through Lawrence, Remy, John, Francisco and Domnic and for Chinchinim Veterans Jerry, Jimmy and Fr Jorge scored. Fr Jorge Dias of Chinchinim Veterans was presented with the man of the match award.
