VM Salgaocar College of Law were crowned overall champions in both men's and women's events at the Inter-Collegiate Judo Championship 2024-25 for Men & Women organised by Goa University. Around 200 athletes (men and women) from various affiliated colleges participated in seven weight categories.
In the Men’s Section, VM Salgaocar College of Law emerged overall champions ahead of runners-up Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim and third-placed Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao, VVM's Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao and Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sanquelim, who shared the third spot.
In the women’s Section, VM Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar were the overall champions followed by runners-up Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Porvorim and the third-placed Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim, Goa Medical College & Hospital, Bambolim and Goa College of Home Science, Campal (all joint-third).
The Best Judoka-Men was awarded to Vilroy D’Souza of VM Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar and the Best Judoka-Women was awarded to Isha Fernandes of VM Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar.
