PANAJI: Sesa FA halted Geno FC's winning run in the Goa Professional League with a convincing 3-1 victory at Duler Stadium, Mapusa on Saturday.
The scoring commenced when a Geno FC defender's errant clearance fell to Sankalp Kankonkar, who capitalized from close range. After the break, Omkar Shetgaonkar extended Sesa's lead with a powerful shot from outside the box, assisted by Kankonkar. Beckham Singh then added a third, nodding in a precise cross from Chaitan Dhabolkar. Geno FC managed a late consolation through Sheldon Pereira's half-volley from the edge of the area.
