Sporting Clube de Goa will target a win when they face Maharashtra Oranje in the I-League 2 match, at Tilak Maidan, Vasco, on Thursday.
The Flaming Oranje are expecting a tense battle as Maharashtra Oranje have collected three points after win over Kenkre FC and another win will firmly establish them at the top spot. Both the teams have 7 points but Mahrashtra Oranje occupy the second spot.
Sporting clube de Goa assistant coach Climax Lawrence expressed his confidence that his team will capitalise on their home advantage to earn a win.
The former India midfielder also expressed his optimism for the championship, stating that his team has building their skills and abilities.
Speaking about the match against the visiting team Lawrence said on Wednesday, “We are expecting a difficult match as always. Maharashtra Oranje, is a well-organised team with good players, and we are expecting a very tough match.” Lawrence concluded.
