Top seeds Ishaan Colaso and Ashank Dalvi stormed into the U11 Boys final of the 5th Naguesh and Sushila Verenkar Memorial All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Chandor Club in aegis with Goa TT Association, at the Chandor Club Multipurpose Hall, with dominant 3-0 wins over Aarish Shaikh and Vardhan Verlekar respectively.
In the U13 Girls category, Aayushi Amonkar defeated Sachi Dessai 3-1 in a spirited contest, while Aarna Lotlikar cruised to a straight-game victory over Tisha Shaikh. Aarna will also feature in the U15 Girls final after outplaying Aayushi Amonkar 3-0, setting up a title clash with Goa’s top-ranked Ishita Colaso, who downed Kavyaa Khalap 3-0 in the other semifinal.
Earlier, in U11 Boys Quarters, Ishaan Colaso [1] bt Kris Silveira 3-0, Aarish Shaikh [3] bt Kabir Dixit [4] 3-0, Vardhan Verlekar bt Vivaan Rane 3-0 and Ashank Dalvi [2] bt Kedar Nair [4] 3-0. In U13 Girls Quarters, Sachi Dessai bt Gianna George 3-1, Aayushi Amonkar bt Kavyaa Khalap 3-1, Tisha Shaikh bt Evangeline Rodrigues 3-0 and Aarna Lotlikar bt Inara Dsouza 3-0. In U15 Girls Quarters, Ishita Colaso bt Juriel Pereira 3-0, Kavyaa Khalap bt Tisha Shaikh 3-1, Aayushi Amonkar bt Gianna George 3-0 and Aarna Lotlikar bt Sachi Dessai 3-1.
