Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao, received a walkover against VP's Mandre College of Commerce, Economics and Management, Mandre, Pernem on Day 2 of the Goa University Inter Collegiate Football Championship 2024-25 for Women at Goa University ground, on Wednesday.
In the second match, Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim, secured a 2-0 victory over Goa College of Home Science, Campal. The goals came from Mayuri Kerkar in the eigth minute and Dikshita Satardekar in the 36th minute.
The third match saw Shree Mallikarjun and Shri Chetan Manju Desai College of Arts & Commerce, Canacona, triumph over Goa Dental College & Hospital, Bambolim, in a tie-breaker, finishing 3-1. Goals were scored by Sharmila Sarang, Deepansha Pagi, and Latika Gaude for Shree Mallikarjun College, while Arya Naik netted one goal for Goa Dental College.
At Rosary College ground, the first match featured MES Vasant Joshi College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar defeating Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar. The only goal was scored by Divinia Fernandes in the third minute.
In the second match, V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, was awarded a walkover against SV’s Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies, Mapusa.
The third match saw PES’s Rajaram & Tarabai Bandekar College of Pharmacy, Farmagudi, also receive a walkover against Govt. College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Khandola.
