5 ‘Critics’ Choice Awards’ films to be screened

The Cinephile Film Club of the Entertainment Society of Goa will be screening five short films from the Critics Choice Awards namely ‘Bittu’, ‘7 Star Dinosaur Entertainment’, ‘Cycle’, ‘Kiss’ and ‘The Silent Echo’ at Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Complex on May 4 at 6.30 pm. The screening will be held in association with the Film Critics Guild. Film Critics Guild member and curator of the Cinephile Film Club Sachin Chatte will introduce the films, directed by known filmmakers who have made it to several festivals around the globe.

PANAJIAn astronomical observatory was inaugurated at BITS Pilani University at the hands of Prof V Ramgopal Rao, vice chancellor in presence of Prof Suman Kundu, director, Goa campus, Col S Chakraborty (Retd), registrar and Prof D M Kulkarni dean, administration of Goa Campus and several faculty and students.
