It was an occasion for joyous celebrations at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Panjim as the inauguration and blessing of the new school office and the high-tech computer science laboratory was held on March 6, 2021, at the hands of Fr Felix Fernandes, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Panjim-Konkan.
Fr Avin Carvalho - Rector of Don Bosco, Panjim, Fr Savio Gomes - Principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary, Fr Joaquim Lobo, Director of Don Bosco College, Fr Chrysologus D’Cunha, Madhavi Borcar “ retired teacher, Nester Sequeira and Clare DeSouza - PTA vice-presidents and Sintia Costa Fernandes, ex-PTA vice-president were among the dignitaries that were present.
Fr Savio Gomes was felicitated for his committed years of honourable and meritorious service as Principal, and his assiduous efforts in the upliftment of the school were placed on record. Mrs Madhavi Borcar, retired teacher of mathematics was appreciated and felicitated for her 26 years of dedicated and selfless service.
