SBI offers ambulance to Street Providence

PANAJI

The State Bank of India handed over a brand-new ambulance costing Rs 13.5 lakhs to Street Providence Trust, Sangolda at a function held on February 18 at the hands of Om Prakash Mishra, Deputy Marketing Director, HR & CDO. SBI Corporate Centre, Mumbai in the presence of Ranjan Gupta, CGM, HR and Naveen Kumar Gupta, DGM, AO.  This fully equipped ambulance was received by Donald Fernandes, the founder trustee. In a short address to the gathering Mishra stated that the SBI has always been in the forefront of helping the needy and impoverished across India.  Donald Fernandes informed that the ambulance will be used for the inmates of the Street Providence Shelter Home and for transporting Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to acquire disability certificates and identity cards which will enable them to avail of Government Schemes.  He also thanked Prasad Kamath, CSR Manager, SBI, Panjim for his assistance to Street Providence.
