MES Higher Secondary School organised an online session on "Let's Talk about Health" taking into consideration the pandemic situation and the way it has taken a toll over the country.
Vishwanath Swar and Namdev Chopdecar of MES Higher Secondary School conducted this live session in the school campus on September 16 for students, parents and teachers.
Speaking about some of the daily yoga practices, Chopdecar and Swar shared interesting facts about water quality and consumption practices which affect our body. They also shared how positive energy and physical activity play a role in achieving a healthy body and mind and spoke about the importance of Yoga and physical exercises, including information for a healthy diet.
Swar advised the students to start their day with the gratitude and exercises to attain spiritual peace and live a more productive, beautiful and happy life, and also demonstrated some meditation techniques.
Adding to his views, Chopdecar spoke about how the practice of a good lifestyle if followed for 21 days, becomes a habitual routine. He also shared some techniques to test the alertness of the mind and body.
Concluding the session, Chopdecar urged the students to practice a healthy lifestyle and celebrate life to the fullest.
The principal of MES Higher Secondary Nelly Rodrigues advised students to exercise regularly at home, remain fit and healthy.
