The 47th State Art Exhibition in Artist Category will be inaugurated at the hands of Premendra Shet, Chairman, Goa State Horticultural Corporation Ltd and MLA, Maem Constituency on January 9 at 4 pm at the Art Gallery, Directorate of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji. Yolanda De Sousa (Calangute), Justin Lobo (Taleigao) and Ompraksah Naik (Ribandar) were on the panel of jury for this exhibition of competitive nature. Altogether, 143 works were received in all the three sections i.e. Painting and Graphic Print section, Applied Art and Graphic Design section and Sculpture section, out of which 88 exhibits are selected for display. This exhibition will be on view for the public from January 9-15 between 10 am and 7 pm.
