MARGAO: Parish Youth Nuvem downed CAC Cansaulim 3-0 in the all Goa inter village football tournament, organised by United Club of Utorda, at SAG ground, Utorda.

Asher Correia of Cansaulim missed a golden opportunity whose shot was parried away by Nuvem goalkeeper Florian Quadros.

Nuvem drew the first blood at ninth minute off Nicolau's powerful header. In the 19th minute, Nuvem doubled the tally through Quadros.

The score at lemon time was 2-0. Post resumption, Nuvem scored off Shubert Borges' easy tap in the 42th minute. PY Nuvem will now meet Sporting Club Davorlim.

MARGAOCurtorim Gymkhana get the better of Fr Agnelo YSC of Paroda 4-2 via the tie breaker to enter the quarter-finals of the Tavares inter-village football tournament, at Cuncolim School ground.Both the teams failed to score in regulation time. In the ensuing tie-breaker, Joy Hilario, Savio Piexoto, Fredy Hilario and Rhay Dias netted for Curtorim Gymkhana while Melson Fernandes and Mackroy D’Costa were the scorers for Fr Agnelo YSC.
