MARGAO: Xetrapal Sports Club defeated St Anthony SC Assolda 5-3 via the tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals of the Bishute Temudo, Frankie Pires and Jose Santa Rita Coelho Memorial inter-village football tournament, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Monday.
Pushparaj opened the scoreline for Xetrapal in the eighth minute but the joy was short-lived as Cajitan equalised for Assolda in the 20th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Xetrapal SC netted through Sahil, Levnoy, Pushparaj and Vipul while Joaquim and Rizbon scored for St Anthony SC Assolda.
