Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to be held on Oct 31

The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas will be observed on October 31 to mark the birth anniversary of the late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

A press release states: On the occasion of the observance of "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” (National Unity Day), a pledge will be taken on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at 10 am, in the open space of the Secretariat Complex at Porvorim.

Chief Secretary will garland the portrait of the leader during the function.

All the existing Covid-19 pandemic protocols will be followed during the programme, the press release concludes.

CMC gets new Chief Officer
