The Chairman of Goa Board Bhagirath Shetye has appealed the students to read at least one book per month, to revive the reading habit. Stating that reading is important for the overall growth of the personality, Shetye said that it is necessary for the students to continue reading good books. He was addressing a reading festival ‘Vachal tar vachal’ on the occasion of National Youth Day at Kirti Vidyalaya in Siolim. The reading festival will be open till January 17. Sandip Morajkar gave key note address on the occasion, in the presence of principal Tishar Anvekar, professor Rajshekhar Bathani, school principal Sudesh Kocharekar, manager prof Parmanand Mandrekar and others.
