Calangute Police Inspector Paresh Naik has assured the public that stringent measures have been implemented to ensure no loud music is played beyond 10 pm in the Anjuna-Vagator region.
Naik, who also serves as the Police Inspector for Anjuna, encouraged villagers to report any instances of noise violations directly to him.
In a move to strengthen communication with the community, Naik shared his mobile number, urging residents to contact him immediately with complaints about loud music.
"I will be personally present here. My staff will be stationed in Anjuna, Vagator, Assagao, and other areas to monitor any issues with loud music. If anybody plays loud music today, you come here. I will be there," Naik stated, emphasising his commitment to addressing the issue.
Naik also noted that the police have previously taken action against clubs that violated noise regulations, and he assured the public that similar enforcement will be carried out this time as well.
