Maha-type alliance will be tried in Goa, says Shiv Sena MP

Shiv Sena MP and Goa desk Incharge Sanjay Raut on Monday said the Shiv Sena would try and replicate the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance formula at the upcoming assembly elections in the State.
Speaking to reporters on his arrival in the State, Raut said he is on a four-day visit and would meet leaders of the Congress and NCP to discuss formation of an alliance in Goa.
"Everyone is coming to Goa as we are just around a month away from the assembly elections in the State. Shiv Sena will definitely contest some seats in Goa and we are trying to think of an alliance as well.”
“We have seen that an alliance of the NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra became the Maha Vikas Aghadi was very successful and we formed the government in Maharashtra. We will try and replicate this same successful formula for assembly elections in Goa as well.”
“We may meet some leaders of the Congress and NCP in Goa for discussions of an alliance for the upcoming assembly elections. We will sit together and decide on the number of seats that the Shiv Sena will contest in Goa," said Raut.
