The annual Saraswat Food & Cultural festival will be held from January 26 to 28, on BPS club ground, Margao.
The festival is hosted by Mathagramasth Saraswat Samaj under the banner of Goa Saraswat Samaj. According to a press note, every year this festival is celebrated with fervour offering an opportunity to one and all to savour the delicacies of Saraswat cuisine. It also offers an opportunity to Saraswat youth to display their talent in cultural activities like singing, dancing, nail art, T-shirt painting, painting & drawing, etc. Preliminaries for dance competition will be held on January 20 and reporting time is 3 pm at Mahila Mandals Vimala Kare Hall, Comba, Margao.
Preliminaries for singing competition will be held on January 21 and reporting time is 9 am & 3 pm at Mahila Mandals Vimala Kare Hall, Comba, Margao. This year Saraswat Family Selfie contest is organised from January 1 to 25.
