Active cases in the state are 3,351 of whom 225 asymptomatic patients are presently under home isolation. The bulletin also recorded 287 recoveries. The deceased include residents of Arlem, Fatorda, Peddem, Sanvordem, Vasco and Chinchinim.
A 64-year-old woman from Peddem was brought dead at North Goa District Hospital on Wednesday and later tested positive. A 52-year-old man from Fatorda passed away on Tuesday while being transferred from South Goa District Hospital to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
A 60-year-old man from Savordem admitted at GMC with comorbidities passed away on Tuesday. A 72-year-old man from Fatorda admitted at GMC with comorbidities passed away on Wednesday. A 43-year-old man from Arlem admitted at ESI Covid Hospital, Margao expired on Tuesday. Three patients including a 71-year-old man from Chinchinim, a 62-year-old man from Fatorda and a 63-year-old man from Belabai in Vasco admitted at ESI Covid Hospital passed away on Wednesday.
Total confirmed Covid-19 cases in Goa so far stand at 15,027. Of these, 11,511 have recovered.
