Cabinet exempts registration fees for Cortalim church

CORTALIM

RDA Minister and Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha said the State Cabinet had also exempted the Cortalim parish church St Philip and St James Church from payment of registration fee towards the gift deed in favour of St Joseph Vaz Educational Society.

Saldanha said the registration fees pertains to an area of 2,500 sq mts of land donated by the Fabrica of St Philip and St James Church towards the St Joseph Vaz Educational Society.

“I was approached by the Cortalim parish priest to seek an exemption after which I followed up with the government which was granted,” Saldanha told The Goan.
