THE GOAN EVERYDAY

'Carmona Ekvottacho Dis' was recently held with an aim to bring all Carmonkars together.
Traditional games, sports and other activities were held throughout the day. The entire village was divided into 7 groups. In the afternoon, all the 7 groups were assembled to release 7 coloured gas balloons in the air to declare the event open. Fr. Mario and Fr. Benny oversaw the proceedings.
There were stalls from 7 groups with their selected coloured serving traditional Goan sweets like godxem, patolleo, khole, shirolle, sannas, etc, that were served on traditional leaf plates along with black tea in polished coconut shells. This event was successfully organizated by the Parish Pastoral Council members.
