A water pipeline burst at Par Usgaon when a JCB machine, working on the construction of a gutter by a road contractor, hit the 250 mm pipeline, disrupting water supply to the Dharbandora and Tisk Usgaon area. Repair work has been undertaken, and water supply will be restored after the completion of the repair work.
The work was being carried out under high-voltage power cables when the pipeline burst, wasting thousands of liters of water. Water supply was shut off an hour after the incident from the Opa water project, and repairs on the pipeline began immediately. The work continued late into the night, and the PWD engineers undertook the changing of the pipeline. Once the repair work is completed, water supply will be restored.
